Spirit of DI

 Team Award – Rising Stars! Stevenson School, Lombard
 This team used bags of rice to test the structure created for the Challenge. The team indicated they plan to donate the rice to a local food pantry. Great role models!
 Team Award – Challenge C- Whittier School, Downers Grove, DI Dynamite
 The Appraisers would like to nominate the team for the outstanding performance, evidence of spectacular teamwork, and terrific attitude. DI Dynamite exemplifies the overall Spirit of DI!
 Team Award- Challenge D- Goodrich School, Woodridge, The Blue Flamingos
 This team’s support of all of the competing teams within their challenge did not go unnoticed or unappreciated. The entire appraisal team was highly impressed with this team’s unselfish attitude and encouragement. Their actions were uplifting.
 Team Award – Instant Challenge – Bartlett High School, Bartlett, AzTECHs
 This team embodies the true spirit of DI. Each member of the team contributed ideas, gave positive feedback, worked well together, and had fun! Their distinct personalities and ideas added to the overall strength of the team. It was great to see High School students participate so enthusiastically! 
Individual Award – Crystal Rule, Timekeeper/Announcer Appraiser for DI-BOT
 Can one person change the way a room feels and get everyone in the audience excited about what they are about to see? The answer is a resounding “YES!” if you have a positive, creative announcer who engages everyone before the Challenge even begins.

 Team Award – Instant Challenge - Whittier School, Downers Grove, DI Dynamite
 This team showed exceptional poise in the planning stage and came together very well during the execution of the concept.  A dynamic performance that ended on a high note.
