Tower of Foam

If they like this one, and you like your team, do it another time on a warm day with sundae fixings, licorice instead of straws and whipped cream instead shaving cream. But...do it outside if you like your house.

Tower of Foam

Equipment:

50 straws with wrappers

Sheet of paper

Can of shaving cream

Setup: Place materials on a table covered with a plastic garbage bag (I cut it open to be flat)

Challenge: Build a free standing structure as tall as possible (not leaning against a wall etc)

Timing:

1 minute to think and discuss

3 minutes to build (I have to specify the one minute or my kids tended to jump in w/o giving each team member a chance to contribute.)

Have fun…but be prepared to smell that shaving cream for some time afterwards!
