Tournament Registration Part 3: Volunteer Registration
 
    * EVERY TEAM (including Rising Stars!® and project OUTREACH) must provide one volunteer to work a 2-4 hour shift to support the Tournament. The types of jobs may include taking photos of participants, welcoming teams at registration, concession or merchandise stand, being a doorkeeper at a Challenge site, helping at the “Prop Drop” zones in the parking lots, providing assistance in planning the Tournament, creating signs, decorations, set up the evening before the Tournament, clean up the afternoon of the Tournament , transporting tournament materials before or after the event, or supporting jobs after the tournament. We invite all sorts of talent to participate to make the Tournament a great event for all!
 
    * The volunteer will be scheduled so that they WILL be able to see their team’s Presentation.
 
    * The volunteer should NOT BE THE TEAM MANAGER! You have done enough for your DI team – Let someone else do this!!
 
    * The Volunteer Coordinator will make assignments based on the team schedule and where they are most needed during the time available.
 
PLEASE NOTE: This volunteer has committed to work a 2-4 hour shift to support a Regional Tournament. The Volunteer Coordinator tries to accommodate requests regarding the time and place of the assigned shift, but the volunteer WILL NOT be scheduled to work during her/his team’s performance.
